Robin’s Room
by Margaret Wise Brown
illustrated by Steve Johnson & Lou Fancher
Robin is growing up, and getting into everyones hair. So his parent’s decide it’s time to give him his own room. When he sees it, he requests three carpenters to come and help him renovate his room. So his parent’s get him the carpenters and you get to go on the wild journey into Robin’s room! When he’s finished he lets everyone see it, but he has to set limits or everyone would be in his room all the time. Now Robin never gets in anyones hair, because he has his own room.
This book is so cool! Fist off the illustrations are really fun. but the way the book is put together makes it fun as well. You completely flip the book around in order to read it! I don’t know how to describe it any other way then that. When I thought about Robin getting his own room the first thing that meant to me was that he was probably still sleeping with his parent’s (and I’m all about families sharing a room). This is one I got at the library but I think it’s one I would like to add to my own collection.
